Dec. 1999

bye bye bug

End of an Era: This was the last view I had of the Wee Beastie - the '62 VW that was my most faithful companion these past 5 years. She is soon to be reincarnated as a dune buggy, and the last nice thing she did for me was to pay for the installation of the high speed net access I am currently enjoying. I hope she has lots more fun on the beach... RIP

Left: The winter solstice full moon, shot from just outside my front door early the morning of Dec. 22 as I stepped out to collect my newspaper.

Below: The latest news from the the Dolphin Cruise Crew: "The dolphins have been absolutely incredible -- thay are actually coming to the boat now and talking to us with their high pitched whistling. Christmas day they came and just carried on for over 30 minutes and then today we heard them again."

Thanks to Scarlet and George for letting us use this great photo and report. Stop by http://fin2feather.com and book your own dolphin encounter today.
